Greece’s Gaea Ready to Claim Its Share of the U.S. Olive Oil Category

Up until now, according to David Neuman, the new CEO at Gaea North America, Greek olive oil has played a secondary role to more visible producers such as Italy and Spain. But that is about to change, if Neuman has his way.
“Greece is having a renaissance now,” said Neuman, with products such as Greek yogurt, feta and extra-virgin olive oil being looked at more seriously by the food community.
